Supply power and/or wired internet connection to your tablet kiosk.
Designed for kiosks that are stationed without power outlets nearby, our Low Voltage Power System (PoE) provides an easy-to-install solution that can easily be installed by anyone. No need to use bulky extension cords or hire an electrician to install a new outlet.
The green Remote Module is plugged into a standard 110 volt AC wall outlet and can be located anywhere up to 328 feet (100 meters) from the kiosk.
The blue Kiosk Module is secured inside the kiosk enclosure and connects to the tablet through one of the available connector options.
We also offer just the Kiosk Module for projects with existing infrastructure or the need to connect multiple kiosk modules to a single source. In this case, a standard 802.3af PoE switch can be used instead of the Remote Module.
For projects with existing infrastructure or the need to connect multiple kiosk modules to a single source, a standard 802.3af PoE switch can be used instead of the green remote module.
The kiosk module and remote module are connected using standard Ethernet cables (Cat5, Cat6, or Cat7 with RJ-45 connectors), allowing you to use existing cable infrastructure or buy the exact length you need at any hardware store.
If your tablet supports a wired Ethernet connection, you can also use the data ports to supply internet to your kiosk. Data is delivered separately from power through a standard RJ-45 connector.
